Freediving Confined Water Training

Every day under direct supervision of our freediving instructor you can train static and/or dynamic apnea in the the shallow water along a lengthy patch of sandy bottom of our house reef, located in the shielded bay.

A training session, during which the instructor will coach you and advise on the ways to improve your technique, lasts 90 minutes and usually includes relaxation and stretching.

We can develop a comprehensive training program for a freediver of any level with any training goals. For example, for static apnea we can do:

  • CO2 tables
  • O2 tables
  • a mix of CO2 and O2 tables
  • one-breath tables
  • static apnea with an empty lungs/FRC

For dynamic apnea we can practice:

  • CO2/O2 tables and their mix
  • 3-15 repetitive DYN/DNF with the 25-70% distance from your max
  • short DYN/DNF with 1-3 breaths between them
  • the combination of STA and DYN/DNF exercises
  • swimming exercises to improve technique

Once you are ready, we will coach you to achieve new personal best in static and/or dynamic![/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row]
